Treasure Hunt Books Bucks

Each unit that sponsors Treasure Hunt activities also sponsors the book bucks (and other prizes) associated with the activity (if any). Books bucks are awarded in the form of money credited to your BYU Bookstore account card (you must have a Bookstore account to receive the credit). You can use this money to purchase the books of your choice at the BYU Bookstore (books can also be special ordered).

To qualify for book bucks, the Faculty Center must be notified that you have completed a Treasure Hunt activity. If you do not sign a roll, you can send an email to treasurehunt@byu.edu. After you report completing an activity, the Faculty Center will notify the Bookstore of the appropriate amount to credit to your account.

The following link lists ALL reported Treasure Hunt activity (including previous years). Each person is listed by their BYU phone extension (if you prefer we use some other ID, let us know).

Your account works like a credit card, so you can charge purchases now and pay the next month with the book bucks. The Bookstore wil send you a statement every month there is activity on your account . If you want to know your current balance, you can call 422-2470. If you feel the Bookstore credits are not correct, report the discrepancy to the Faculty Center at treasurehunt@byu.edu.
