Personal Facts

Jenith was born on a military base near Williamsburg, Virginia, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She worked in administration and marketing prior to earning her doctoral degree in Applied Social Psychology. She has taught eight different courses for the Department of Psychology at BYU. Jenith has three exceptional children, and two delightful grandchildren. Her professional foci have been in relationship violence and sexual harassment and abuse. She writes poetry and enjoys the outdoors, theater, great books, good music, and other cultures.
