Personal Facts

Kent was born and raised on a wheat and dairy farm in Magrath, Alberta. He served in the Canadian Army, and spent two years in New Zealand as an LDS missionary. His primary professional foci have been: photosynthetic physiology, the management of corn and soybeans, decision cases, and effective administration. He and his wife Gayle have seven children and eleven grandchildren. His hobbies are oil painting, wood working and writing.
